About Your Trainer

A lifelong animal lover, Cate began her training as a volunteer and foster in local shelters. After earning her professional certificate in dog training (CPDT-KA), she started The Practiced Pup to help dogs and their adopters build strong relationships through training. She is a force-free, positive-reinforcement trainer and is also always learning. Her continuing education includes Fear Fear Shelters, Clicker Expo Conference, and Shelter Playgroup Alliance.
